He was predeceased by: his son John Watson Card; his parents, Clarence Card and Mary Card; and his brother Don Card. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his daughters, Wendy (Harley Gaunt), Vicki Card of Welland, Kathy Card-Dracz of Welland and Dianne Card of Welland; and his daughter-in-law Kim Card Parkes (Brian Parkes). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
