He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Bester (Laney); his parents, Joseph Bester and Gloria Bester; and his sister Audrey Turnbull. He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Tremblett of Wingham; his children, Shawn Bester (Krista) of Formosa and Jason Bester of Teeswater; his grandchildren, Amber, Meadow, Rain, Aeson, Chase and Sky; his sister Evelyn Walters (Harold) of Chepstow; his brother-in-law Clint Turnbull of Walkerton; and also, Raymond Rock of Belmore, Joseph Rock (Shelley) of Goderich and Lesley Rock of Hamilton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
