He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Hammond; his parents, Enis Hammond and Jane Hammond; and his brothers, Ned, Pat and Kevin.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Smith-Ward (Mitch) of Waterford, Brian of Orangeville, Gary of Toronto, Shelley Wilson (Dwight) of Grimsby and Alison Lawrence (Wayne) of Tiverton; his grandchildren, Keith, Kristen, Roxanne, Mathew, Amie, Raymond, Katrina, Megan, Ryan and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Clara, Cody, Shelby, Florenza and Austin; and his sisters, Edith and Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
