He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Wright and Laurine Wright; his brother Jackie Wright; and his brothers-in-law, Syd Thompson, Rob McClean and Grant McPhail.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Janice Wright; his children, Christine Wright, Sonja, Steve Alton, Paula, Matt Smith, Mitch and Roxanne Wright; his grandchildren, Cameron Alton, Meaghan, Brent, Rachael Alton, Grant Alton, Sarah, Matthew, Kyra, Karling, Sierra Wright, Scott, Marshall Smith, Brooklyn and Julia Wright; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Miley Alton; and his siblings, Winona Thompson, Sandra (Greg Buchanan), June (John Paynter), Janette McClean (Wayne Douglas), Rod (Susan Wright), Shirley Wright and Shirley McPhail. He is also survived by animal companions.
Memorial donations to the McIntosh United Church or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
