She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Simpson; her parents, Bert Currie and Nellie Currie; her son Currie Simpson; and her grandson Ethan Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Anne, Bob Gowland of Culross Township, Jack, Christine Simpson of Toronto, David and Karen Simpson of Oakville; her grandchildren, Daniel, David, Dana Gowland, Jonah and Kyle Simpson; her sisters, Jessie McGee, Barbara Gibson and Marjorie Falconer; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Currie and Elsie Simpson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
