She is survived by: her spouse Abel; her children, Abel Duarte (Marlene) of West Lorne and Paul Duarte (Shellie) of London; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Tyler, Abygail and Carter; her brother Manuel Ferreira Duarte; and her nieces and nephews, Portugal and Brazil.
