She was predeceased by: her parents, Janie Shears (Wight) and Chesley Shears; her siblings, Ches (Patty), George, June Vernon and Doris Long; and her siblings-in-law, Ern (Maude), Ron, Allan, Clayton, Viola, Marjorie and Amy.

She is survived by: her husband Heman Reid of Lady Cove, NL; her children, Lorna (AndyThompson) and Bruce (Antoinette); her grandchildren, Jessica Reid, Lindsay Reid (Kevin), Caitlin Harvey (Graeme), Hayley Francis (Brandon), Madison Kwiczala (Kyle), Brandon Reid (Lydia) and Jacqueline Coe (Sean); and her great grandchildren, Ella, Eva Coe and Myles Harvey. She is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to Hospice Wellington or Guelph Humane Society.
