He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Dyck and Maria Dyck of Ukraine; his wife Katharina Dyck; and his sisters, Margarete Hildebrandt, Anna Martens and Helene Thiessen of St. Catharines.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Dyck (Annie) and Marlene Chubb (David); his grandchildren, Marliese (Virgil), Katrina (Aaron), Maranda (Jeremy), Alyson (Bryan), Christina, Jase, Kierce, Jude, Lyra, Layla, Colter and Vada; and his caregivers, Lauren, Justine, Nimmi, Leema, Marianna and Betsy.
Donations may be made in memory of Franz Dyck to The Gideons International in Canada (https://www.gideons.org), as that ministry was very close to both Papa's and Mama's heart.
