We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025, at the age of 87, Sheila Irene Evans (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sheila Irene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sheila Irene. Though Sheila Irene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Grant Evans and Irene Matilda Evans (Ketcheson). She is survived by: her sister Daphne Might of Kelowna, B. C; and her nephews, Andrew and Peter Macrae. She is also survived by family, all her care givers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church (2225 Highbury Ave N, London, ON N5X4A4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (375 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4T2V8).
