It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Fortuna of Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Orlanda Fortuna Sousa (Tony Sousa), Mark Fortuna (Christina Pinto) and Amy Fortuna Shouldice (Andrew Shouldice); and her grandchildren, Toni Sousa (Tyler Twigger), Matthew Sousa (Alita Sousa), Ian Michael Sousa, Katherine Sousa, Madison McIntyre, Evelyn Shouldice, Carmen Shouldice and Josephine Shouldice.
Family and friends wishing to honor Maria's memory are invited to make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society, causes close to her heart.
