The memory of Luigi Meggetto (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Giuseppina; his parents, Giacomo and Clelia; and his siblings, Cirillo, Giovanni, Alessandro, Angelo, Egidio (Santina), Silvio (Bruna), Armando (Ersilia), Francesco and Dino (Franca).
He is survived by: his children, Giacomo (Angela) and Marino; his grandchildren, Olivia (Luciano), Liana (Cordell) and Leo; and his siblings, Danilo (Eliana) and Elsa. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave W, North York, ON M6A1C3). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
In memory of Luigi, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
