We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John Jacobi (Toronto, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Jacobi and Bill Jacobi. He is survived by: his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Peter Jones; and his stepgranddaughter Tara.

This came as a mixed blessing after a difficult year attempting to keep the devastating Lewy Body Dementia at bay through the COVID Pandemic with its multiple lockdowns, isolation periods and limitations.

Donations to the Nature Conservancy of Canada, World Vision or Kensington Gardens in his name would be appreciated.

“Sincere condolences to John's family. We have many memories of our association with John, stemming from the 50s & 60s as family friends of John's extended family, John's years at UTS, his visits to us when we lived in N W Ontario where he loved to come to fish & explore and also at Miner's Bay Lodge. John lived life to the full in his own way. We are sorry to learn of his struggle with Lewy Body disease and his recent death. May he rest in peace.. David & Linda Ann (Maclean) Jewell”
