He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Cooper of Toronto; his father Fred DeVriendt (late Nancy Bergman DeVriendt); his brother Chris DeVriendt; his uncle Peter DeVriendt (late Mercia); and his nephews, Nathan and Noah.
