He was predeceased by: his wife Marion; his parents, Irvin and Edna; and his sisters, Margorie Facey (Roy) and Lorna Cavers (Jim).
He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Damm; his siblings, Howard (Iris), Marlene Giangualano (Ralph) and Lawrence (Donna); his children, Jim (Lynn) and Marni Groen; and his grandchildren, Shane Wilhelm (Nicole), Anthony Groen and Nicole Groen. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
