He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn Fawcett-Morrow; his children, Michael Fawcett (Cherryl) and Jennifer Fawcett (Walter); his grandchildren, Rilee, Shae-Lynne Willianen, Hannah, Illeana, Damon and Alex Fawcett; his siblings, Jean Beyko, Glenna Fawcett, Darlene Stokes (Wayne), Ruby Fawcett and Jim Fawcett (Flo); his parents, Edgar Fawcett and Edith Fawcett; and his brother Bruce Fawcett. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful for the condolences, and donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Northern Cancer Fund or the Thunder Bay Metro Lion's Club.
