He was predeceased by : his father Guy Lemieux; and his niece Katherine Lemieux. He is survived by : his wife Donna-Mae; his children, Jessica and Mark (Anthony); his stepchildren, Melissa Braithwaite (Toby) and Rick Galati; his stepgrandchild Daxon Braithwaite; his siblings, Diane, Roger (Donna), Gerald (Jo-Anne), Michael (Sylvana) and Don (Elizabeth); and his grand-animals, Talla, Miko, Luna and Mack. He is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's R. C. Church (123 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7G1H6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Harbourview Funeral Centre (499 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4R9).
