She was predeceased by: her husband Niilo Tiitto; and her brother Lauri Niemela. She is survived by: her daughter Pirjo Hannele Lyon (Michael) of Jasper; her granddaughters, Danielle Anathema and Christine Lyon of Vancouver; her nieces, Sirpa Bishop (Dave) of Kakabeka Falls and Riitta Kimball (Vern); her nephew Roy Niemela (Karina Buntemeyer) of Thunder Bay; her sister-in-law Hilda Tiitto; and her nieces, Aila Tiitto and Eija Luczyk (Don).
