He was predeceased by: his wife Rosetta Riccio; and his son-in-law Vincenzo Merenda. He is survived by: his son-in-law Francesco Pellegrino; his children, Emilia Sgambelluri, Giuseppe Sgambelluri, Silvana Merenda, Susanna Pasqualino, Carlo Pasqualino and Carlo Figliomeni; and also Maria Figliomeni.
