He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Diane Nordlund of Thunder Bay; his children, Eric Nordlund (Paula) of Thunder Bay, Marc Nordlund (Joanna) of Tsawwassen and Christine Nordlund-Grillo (Matthew) of Fort Fairfield, Maine; his sisters, Beverley-Ann Wakefield (Craig) and Patti Lamminmaki (Terry); his grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Stephanie, Sabrina, Jonah, Fiammetta and Elias; his nieces and nephews, Maija, Amy, Drew and Karri; and his friends, Ted, Ken and Allen Main.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hands Auxiliary Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged or Dorion Bible Camp.
