With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Leslie McNamara (Thorold, Ontario), who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie McNamara and Bessy McNamara; and his siblings, Freddy and Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Billie Lee (Stevens); his sons, David (Helen) and Darryl (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Brady, Vienna, Ayla, Seamus, Ivy and Auston; his siblings, Karen Greco (Tom), Pat Filbert (Carl), Cheryl Smith (Doug), Bobby and Maureen Fluellon (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Stevens, Donna Saunders (Jeff), Brenda Edonel (late Freddy) and John Lawrie (late Debbie).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Jumpstart (jumpstart.canadiantire.ca) that ensures kids without the financial means are able to receive the equipment they need to play sports or The Ronald McDonald House (rmhccanada.ca).
