We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2022, at the age of 95, Shirley Elaine Van Ophem (Thorold, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sheere and Elizabeth Sheere; and her siblings, Harold (Muriel), Betty (Scotty) and Carol (Wray).

She is survived by: her husband Albert van Ophem; her daughters, Andrea (Brett Rohaly) and Karen (John Kwiatkowski); her grandchildren, Kelsey (Pedro), Christy (Kyle) and Colin; and her great grandchildren, Willow, Leif, Lennox and Leland.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society or Operation Smile would be appreciated.
