He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Hildegard; and his brother Berthold. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Roberta and Michelle (Trevor Philbrick); his grandchildren, Lindsay Zylstra (Jesse), Danielle, Colby Gaines, Ty, Gage and Tess Philbrick; his great grandchildren, Jace, Darby and Connley Zylstra; and his grandchildren, Shevy and Louie. He is also survived by his kids' soccer teams, watching his grandkids.
