He was predeceased by: his siblings, Karen Maitland and Darcey Maitland. He is survived by: his significant other Betty Pokno; his siblings, Glenna Gagnon (Danny), Shelley Ervin, Chris Ervin (Kelly), Patty Ervin (Brad Harrington) and John Ervin (Sylvie Tremblay); and his close friends, Linda Auger, Bruce Fahrer and Allan McDonald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
