He was predeceased by: his spouse Marlane; his daughter Julie; his siblings, Bobby, Philip, Leonard, Joan Johnson and Christine Bowie; and his fathers, Sam Bowie and Maurice Bowie.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Rose (Elvin) and Irvin Jr. (Sandra); and his sisters, Phyllis Bowie and Marjorie Mills.
