He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Richardson and Lola Richardson (Shaver). He is survived by: his significant other Karen; his children, Jason Richardson (Lisa), Lana Hess (Allan) and Rhonda Holmes (Jeff); his grandchildren, Emma, Cole Richardson, Cassidy, Parker Hess, Avery and Jacob Holmes; and his siblings, Gord Richardson (Sharon) and Gail Gerritsen (late Herm). He is also survived by his many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Gary to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
