He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack New and Ruth New of Renfrew, Ontario.; his sisters, Sylvia Robertson and Carol Crozier; his former wife Laureen New; and his grandson Brett Kilburn.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughter Jill Montsion (Mark); his grandchildren, Stephanie and Mathew; and his stepchildren, Kathy Hurdis (Al), James Kilburn and David Kilburn (Beckie). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
