He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Crystal; and his siblings, Mary, Alfred, Stan, David and Hazel.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Bristow; his children, Julia (John), Jennifer (Boyne), Philip (Dawna) and Jackie (Marc); his grandchildren, Amber (Nick), Tellen (Nicole), Autumn (Shawn), Casey, Craig and Gage; and his siblings, Arthur (Renate), Fred (Raji) and Laura. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
