He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tamara; his children, Anna (Gene), Stan (Anke) of Toronto and Diane (Randy) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Graeme, Karin, Corrine, Brittany, Caitlyn and Sasha; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Hudson, Athea and Elysia; and his parents, Fedor Buhay and Anna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral.
