I knew your mom well when she lived in Edmonton and I have thought of her with fondness over the years. Mel was one of those friends that when we got together we would laugh, then giggle, and then laugh some more. There are not many people you can share that kind of special friendship with. She was open, honest and had a smile that lit her whole face. She will always be remembered. Violet”
