It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Hendrika Scheepmaker (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adriaan Waijers and Hendrika Waijers; and her sisters, Hetty Watts, Nini DeKuijer and Annie Gaarkeuken.
She is survived by: her children, John (Fran), Hennie Doucet (Bob), Fred (Brenda), Tina Scheepmaker, Rudi (Dori-Lynn) and Robert (Linda); and her grandchildren, Shari, Richard, Tina, Danny, Allyson, Dean, Eric, Melanie, Amanda and Stacey.
Memorial donations in Ria's name may be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society.
