John George Majic Obituary

Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John George Majic (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 89, on May 15, 2020. He was predeceased by: his son Joseph; his parents, Ivan Majic and Agnes (Vukovic); his parents-in-law, Frano and Luca Lukenda; his siblings, George Majic (Rolleen) and Agnes Bussineau (Glen); and his sister-in-law Olga Lukenda.

He is survived by: his wife Vinka (Lukenda); his children, Rob Majic (Vivian), Dr. Mary Ann Majic (John Kusnierczyk) and Patti-Lynn Cook (Jason); his sister Mary Vorlicek (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Gento Lukenda (Ora), Ana Mele (late Tony), Mira Primorac (late Ljubo), Vinka Mlinarevic (Tiho), Ljerka Jobst (Peter) and Snjezana St. Jules (Paul); and his close friends, John, Vi Lukenda, Slobodan, Mila Eljuga, Gloria Gasparetto (late Ray), Bob and Judy MacDougall. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Donations may be made for memorial masses at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Light the Cross Foundation or Our Lady of the Highway Croatian Catholic Church.
