He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustino Rota and Emilia Rota; his parent-in-law Antonio Carpino; and his sibling Flora Rota. He is survived by: his spouse Carmelina; his children, Emily Malcolm (Tony) and Franca McCuaig (Bill); his grandchildren, Colin, Celina, Tristan, Tianna and Aurora; his parent-in-law Francesca Carpino; and his sibling Salvatore Rota (Rose). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
