He was predeceased by: his wife Paulette Roy; his son Larry Roy (Elizabeth); his parents, Armand Roy and Winnifred Roy; and his brother Robert Roy.

He is survived by: his daughter Patsy Roy (Les Nichols); his grandchildren, Crystal Roy (Will Stephens), Christina Scott-Richer (Don), Christopher Scott (Meghan) and Nathaniel Roy-Dickson; his great grandchildren, Noah, Isabella, Shane, Jaiden, Izyck, Abbey, Avory, Grace and Ryker; and his sisters, Florence Roy, Margaret Roy and Frances Roy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
