He was predeceased by: his parents, Sin Mou Lam and Bik Kum Fong. He is survived by: his spouse Betty; his children, Margaret and Daniel; his stepmother Yung Lam; his siblings, Nancy Kwan (Seba), Lorna But (Kam Wah), Gary Lam (Ming Chu), James Lam (Alicia) and Christine Ho (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Joann Yun (Ken), Connie Cheung (Tom), Peter Ma (Frances), Eddie Ma (Mandy) and Bill Ma (Cathy). He is also survived by nieces and great nephews.

Memorial donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Society.
