He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Couturier-Grisdale and Douglas Couturier; and his siblings, Shirley Bruno (John), Beverly Masters (late Ernie), Lloyd Couturier, Connie Bovingdon (Gus), Wilbert (Karen), David Couturier, Carolyn Couturier and Sharon Fry (Louis).

He is survived by: his wife Kimberley; his children, Darrell (Jeanne), Ron (Judy), Greg and Donnie (Dottie); his stepdaughter Tara Corran (Richard); his grandchildren, Darrell Jr. (Signe), Dustin (Lori), Ashley (Nick), Dylan (Karrissa), Natasha, Dawn, James, Emma and Ainsley; his great grandchildren, Zoe and Mia; his siblings, John Couturier (Shirley), Eddie Couturier, Lois Baxter (late Erleen), Sandra Olendy (late Pete) and Aletha Bonin (Ken); his parent-in-law Beverley Glew (late Ken); his siblings-in-law, Linda Glew (Ugene), Gail Bennett, Diane Lelievre (Steve), Karen Sawyer (Wayne), Gary Glew (Carol) and Barbara-Ann MacLean (Joey); and his close friend Tim Morden (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
