He was predeceased by: his spouse Betty; his parent Leslie Mills; his siblings, Leslie (late Jean), Helen Johnson (late Tom), Arthur (late Marjorie), Garnet (late Ethel) and Harold (Sky); and his sibling-in-law Phyllis Gjos (late James).

He is survived by: his children, Carla Bumbaco (Philip) and Curtis (Leslie); his grandchildren, Jacob, Daniel Bumbaco, Jarrett, Brenna, James and April Mills; his parent Ella Mills; and his siblings, Wilma Giles (late Jack), Edgar (Dorothy) and Raymond (Maebelle).
