He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lynda; his children, David Ervin, Bernadette "Buffy" Matheson and Jason Matheson; his grandchildren, Adrianna, Taylor, Vanessa, Emily, Matthew, Mackenzie, Mayla and Colton; his siblings, Jack (late Betty), Ron and Ada Ervin; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Matheson (Sandra) and Gus Matheson (Lorraine). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
