He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thibault and Peggy Thibault; and his sibling Jo-Anne Whalen (Francis). He is survived by: his spouse Maria; his children, Melinda Thibault, Alan (Ashley), Raquel (Ron), Christopher (Courtney) and Andrew (Violet); his siblings, Mary James (Rick), Barbara Thibault (Bob), Paul Thibault (Anita) and Margaret Matte (Luc); and his siblings-in-law, Albert, Nadia (Kyle) and Terri-Lynn.
