She was predeceased by: her husband Lauri; her close friend Evan Makinson; her child Paul; and her sibling Marjatta Lindfors of Sault Ste. She is survived by: her children, Arja (Penny), Rita Rydall (Myles), Leo (Maryanne) and Irene; her grandchildren, Jarrett Rydall, Cassandra Rydall and Joshua Tynnela; her siblings, Maire Impola of Finland, Marie, Vieno, Bertta and Lauri of Finland; and also Henry Lindfors.
