She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Ashton; her sister Madeleine Cross; and her children-in-law, Ed Campbell and Christine Ashton. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Ashton (Mary), Kenneth Ashton (Jane), Marie Campbell, Lois Jean Ashton Diniz (Joe), Glen Ashton (Heather), Kate Ashton (Tony Makhlouta), Noreen Knight (Dave) and Anna Siderius (Stan); her grandchildren, Ben (Jen), Michael (Allison), Kai (Kiera), Ellen, Anya (Brad), Matthew (Andrea), Mark, Wren (Jeremy), Blake (Meghan), Jacob (Samantha), Lisa (Ben), Emma (Marcus), Rachael and Eric; and her great grandchildren, Matilda, Edwin, Aria, Malcolm, Munro and Thurgood.
