He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burpee; his sons, Jason Sutton (Ann Dee) and Robert Sutton; his grandchildren, Cecily and Whit; and his brother Douglas Sutton (Anne Sterling-Sutton). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
