He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his daughter Janice Wakunick; his son-in-law William Summers; and his parents, Nunzio Caperchione and Josephine Caperchione.

He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Summers and Joanne Klauck (Jim); and his grandchildren, Marla Rager (Bob), Jim Klauck (Jackie), Len Klauck (Amie), Jada and Morgan Wakunick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
