He was predeceased by: his parents, James John Tierney and Veronica Elizabeth Tierney; and his wife Carol Sylvia Tierney. He is survived by: his nephews, Michael and Curtis Mohns. He is also survived by many cousins, neighbours and friends.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of Frank’s passing. Frank was our nextdoor neighbour for a couple years while we lived in Petawawa. I will always remember him from our long conversations sitting in the driveway while he would pet and enjoy our dog. While he may not have known it, Frank played a huge role by supporting me while my partner was deployed. He will always hold a very special spot in my heart as he was the first person I truly viewed as a friend when I moved across the country.”
