He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Masaharu 'Masa Mukai; his siblings, Patricia Harris (William B.) of Toronto, Canon David A. P. Smith (Margo) of Perth and Harriet Pattison (Bruce) of Fort Myers; and his parents, Canon F. Arthur Smith and Marjorie Smith (Pritchard). He was also cherished by seven nieces and nephews, and many friends.
