He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pet Fisher; his parents, George Bowes and Olive Bowes; his wife Mary; his daughter Marka (Rick); his stepchildren, Chris (Laurie) and Tanya (Rod); his grandchildren, Aidan, Audrina, Rebeca, Carter and Jeremy; his great grandchildren, Ryker and Findley; his friends, Lee Larkin (Ava) and John Strudwick (Glenda); his mother-in-law Margaret Milotte; and his half-siblings Kenny. He was also cherished by extended family, his many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and co-workers.
A celebration of Overton's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 395, Lanark on Monday, May 8th, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 P.M. In remembrance of him, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation – Perth Site, would be greatly appreciated.
