He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Barr and Elizabeth Barr; and his sister Bev Brears. He is survived by: his wife Jean Barr; his children, Katherine, Cara and Jim Barr; his children-in-law, Fraser Thomson and Barbara Sochanski; his grandchildren, Kaiden, Evelyn, Addison, Simon and Emerson; and his sisters, Sandra Malachowski and Joy Lumsden. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
