He was predeceased by: his wife Edith M. Wark; and his daughter Kathy. He is survived by: his children, Darlene Tysick (Joe), Norma Young, Victor, Vernon (Laurie), Gary (Gloria), Keith (Tracy), Susan Solowjew (David), Judy Graham, Rose Gogo (Bill) and Danny (Tracey); and his siblings, Florence, Eileen and Leonard.

In remembrance of John, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
