He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverley Lawson; his son Michael Lawson; his sibling Shirley Bell; and his parents, Albert Lawson and Janet Lawson.

He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Wood (Jason); his daughter-in-law Nathalie Lawson; his grandchildren, Madison (Daniel), Alexander (Krysty), Riley, Colby and Hope; his great grandchildren, McKinley, Xavier and Izabella; his sister-in-law Arlene Drolet; and his nieces, Elaine, Heather and Wendy.

In memory of Gordon donations to the Ottawa and Renfrew County Dementia Society would be appreciated.
