He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon McWhirter and Olive MacWhirter (Milligan); and his wife Rita McWhirter (Pender). He is survived by: his children, Greg (Tamara), Terry-Lynn (Andy) and Tim (Paige); his grandchildren, Casey, Paighton, Quinn, Sydney and James; and his pet Jake. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
