He was predeceased by: his children, Greg (Kathy) and Wendy; his parents, Ernest and Hilda (Jackson); his siblings, Mabel Summers, Fred (Barbara) and Larry (Orleen); and his brother-in-law Gary Cinnamon.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Cinnamon); his children, Terry (Judy), Dean (Penny), Jeff (Wendy Ann) and Peter (Kim); his siblings, Thelma Williams, Winnifred Patterson, Betty Faith, Dwayne and Richard (Ellie); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Stewart, Betty Griffin (Bill), Mary McMillan, Judy Cinnamon (Reg Cayer), John Cinnamon (Linda) and Susan Rooke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
